Season 2025 Opening Weekend at
Babbie Rural & Farm Learning Museum
Plow Days
Opening Weekend Sat. May 17th & Sun. May 18th 10am to 4pm Plowing and planting with antique farm equipment will be ongoing throughout the weekend. Other demonstrations will be featured in the granary, blacksmith shop, sawmill and shingle mill. Take a stagecoach ride, feed the animals, enjoy the child-oriented hands-on exhibits in our center room and bring a lunch to enjoy in our picnic area. Beverages, snacks, ice cream and unique gifts will be available in the Museum Store. On Sat. May 17th at 10am please join us for the grand unveiling of the New Museum Sign, designed and painted by Local Artist/Art Teacher Greg Badger and his students. We will be serving cider and donuts from 10 - 11am
