What Remains: Voices from the Margins of History invites visitors into a powerful visual archive of African American life in the Adirondack and Lake Champlain region during the early twentieth century, captured through the lens of photographer Daniel S. Brush. This exhibit illuminates individuals whose stories have often gone unrecorded, yet whose presence shaped the cultural
fabric of the North Country.
