The Heart’s Delight Farm Heritage Exhibit is set up for self-guided tours. Staff will be available during Museum Days to answer any questions you might have.

  • The Plattsburgh Memorial Chapel was dedicated on October 24, 1933
  • Built in memory of those stationed at the Plattsburgh Barracks Army Post who gave their live in World War
  • Project was sponsored by the Churchwomen's League for Patriotic Service costing $22,472
  • Constructed of weathered brick from a historical structure near Plattsburgh
  • Chandeliers were made by the post blacksmith
  • Pews and original organ were donated by the 26th Infantry
  • Bell was installed in 1936 came from the World War I ship the USS O'Brien

Throughout Museum Days weekend participants will be able to present their  Adirondack Arts and History Passport for a stamp at each participating heritage attraction. Collect as many stamps as you can from participating museums and cultural centers for a chance to win a basket of great local prizes! The Adirondack Coast Arts & History Passport is free to pick up and is truly your passport to local heritage and culture on Museum Weekend and throughout the summer season.
